PHOTO: Circa 1975, Fort Missoula Rd, Missoula, MT. Rick Monroe was an aerial photographer for the US Forest Service stationed in Missoula, Montana. He was a prolific photographer who studied the work of Ansel Adams and was sought after by Kodak for his extensive knowledge of infrared film. He was born in Anaconda, MT, 1944, and later died in Missoula, MT, 1978.
